Tom Vice

Tom Vice leads Astrion as Chairman and CEO, building on the company’s strengths in systems engineering, threat analysis, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, and training. His focus is applying that expertise to the systems customers operate.

Tom brings more than 30 years of aerospace, defense and advanced technology leadership. Before Astrion, he served as CEO of Sierra Space, leading the company through $1.7 billion in Series A and B capital raises. He previously led Aerion Corporation as Chairman, CEO and President. Earlier, he spent more than three decades at Northrop Grumman, including as President of Aerospace Systems, overseeing approximately 23,000 employees and programs spanning space, autonomous aircraft, stealth bombers and missile systems. He also led its Technical Services sector, supporting operations across 29 countries.

Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California and completed advanced executive programs at MIT, Northwestern, Caltech, UCLA and the Defense Acquisition University. His board service has included the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the USO Board of Governors.
