Jennifer Damewood

Jennifer Damewood runs the operational backbone of Astrion. As Chief Business Operations Officer, she leads information technology strategy, cybersecurity, facilities, enterprise security, safety, quality, and the Program Management Center of Excellence. Her portfolio covers the infrastructure and governance that programs depend on.

Before moving into this role, Jennifer served as Vice President of Business Development Operations at Astrion. She brings more than 25 years in federal government contracting and proposal development, managing large-scale proposal efforts, authoring major sections of competitive submissions, and leading teams of proposal writers and specialists. She has also carried that experience into execution, serving as transition specialist on contracts at NASA Kennedy Space Center and Arnold Air Force Base, where she stood up operations during the transition to contract performance.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Children's Advocacy Center.
