Eric Brown

President, Mission Solutions

Eric Brown leads the Astrion organizations that deliver mission capability to the U.S. Government and its allies. He has P&L responsibility across the company’s six mission areas and its subsidiaries and is accountable for executing Astrion's strategy, delivering its solutions and services, and inserting its technologies and platforms into operational missions at home and abroad.

Eric has spent over 25 years building national security businesses, with particular depth in areas relating to space, missile defense, homeland security, and intelligence. Before joining Astrion, he was Vice President of Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabilities at Lockheed Martin, running strategy, business development, and advanced programs spanning missile warning and defense; orbital warfare; intelligence and targeting; satellite communications (SATCOM); position, navigation, and timing (PNT); and space exploration. At PwC Strategy& he advised Fortune 100 leadership on issues relating to growth, M&A, and positioning, and before that led corporate strategy and advanced solutions for the Volvo Group. Earlier roles included support to the US Intelligence Community and Department of Homeland Security on deployment of capabilities for missions ranging from counterterrorism to disaster mitigation.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College, a master’s in US National Security Policy from Georgetown University, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is the author of The 21st Century Revolution in Military Affairs: Space Primacy (published by the National Security Space Association) and The Golden Dome for America: Our Manhattan Moment. He has served on the boards of Astrotech Space Operations, CONFERS space servicing consortium, and non-profit organizations.
