Conn Doherty

Conn Doherty leads Astrion’s enterprise strategy, platform development and growth. His focus is connecting the company’s embedded mission knowledge to technology investment, product development and strategic partnerships. That work brings new capabilities to customers and expands the solutions Astrion delivers alongside its technical services.

Conn brings more than two decades of aerospace and defense experience across technology development, business leadership and growth. Before Astrion, he served as Chief Growth Officer at CHAOS Industries, working on distributed systems for counter-drone operations and integrated air and missile defense. Earlier roles at Raytheon and Collins Aerospace spanned program leadership, strategy and business development. He served as Vice President and General Manager of the Strategic Solutions portfolio and led a research and development business that secured multiple multibillion-dollar programs of record.

Conn earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from UCLA. He also serves on WPI’s computer science and aerospace engineering advisory boards.
